AGE GROUPS are based on age by the year end (Lakeland League Rules)

Athletes are placed in the 9/10, 11/12 or 13/15 age group based on the age they will be by December 31 of the year.
Example: A child who is 10 years old during the track season, but will be turning 11 in November, will be placed in the 11/12 age group. A child who is 12 during the track season, but turning 13 in December, will be placed in the 13/15 age group.
